The Paleo breakfast is part of what is otherwise known as the Paleolithic or Caveman diet. The Pale breakfast and diet involves a lot of meat in its meals, something which many vegans and vegetarians may be actively disapproving of. The Paleo breakfast involved eating foods that are free of gluten, dairy, and soy. A typical Paleo diet breakfast consists of eggs, pancakes which include ingredients like almonds, zucchini, butters and fruits, and some breakfast teas.

The theory behind the Paleo breakfast is that most of the modern diets are the main culprits of such diseases as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, strokes, heart diseases and many more. The proponents of the Paleo breakfast and diet do not approve of eating grains and legumes stating that these types of foods involves a lot of processing and that human intervention has ruined the health of humans. The Paleo diet breakfast and diet critics continue with the statement that the Paleolithic humans did not suffer from chronic illnesses as modern humans do because they did not live long enough to actually develop the diseases.

On the part of the medical associations, they are not going to jump into the Paleo breakfast and diet idea soon, either. The medical community cites that diets like Paleo diet breakfast involve huge amounts of fat and cholesterol consumption which are potentially problematic for any human. The community also state that it is now impossible to get hold of the wild game and organic foods such as the Paleolithic man did so the Paleo breakfast and diet would be ineffective, despite the presence of consuming only organically grown vegetables.

However, even with the presence of the criticisms hounding the Paleo breakfast and diet system, there are still a lot of people who follow it religiously and have lost the excess weight which other diet systems were ineffective in. The lean bodies which result from the Paleo treats and diet is generally healthy, and as the followers include exercise, it is just logical to believe that the system does work pretty well for them.
